Department of Civil Discourse

The New York Times puts to rest any lingering concern about the paper's ability to speak in terms accessible to the hoi polloi. (Nicely done, guys, but don't you think "grammatical malapropism" -- much though WLIR wishes we had coined that phrase -- kind of moots the effort?)
