Two (Multi-Part) Questions for Roberts

  1. Prior to entering legal practice, had you ever held a job?
    • If so, was it a job for which you had to interview?
    • If you had to interview for it, did you inform the interviewer in advance which hypothetical questions you could not possibly answer, because "It depends"?
  2. When The Weasel or his minions spoke to you prior to your nomination to the Supreme Court, did they ask you hypothetical questions about how you might respond to Legal Argument X, or Constitutional Question Y? and did you answer those questions? or did you decline, on the ground that "It depends"?
Of The Weasel himself, of course, I'd only want to know if the nomination's timing had anything to do with distracting everyone from RovePlameWilsonNigerGate (or whatever Jon Stewart called it the other night). Not that I'd expect an answer from him, either -- other than "It depends."
