Atrios on Health Insurance
In "real life" [Wha...? What could be more real than blogging?!?], Atrios is an economist. More precisely, he teaches economics. Thus, when he takes it upon himself (as he sometimes does) to wax explanatory about things money-related, you can do much worse than to listen up.
Over the last week, he has laid out -- in language characteristically straightforward -- how health insurance is both like and unlike other kinds of insurance. Here are the three posts (so far?): As Mrs. FLJerseyBoy could tell you, I am by no means an authority on matters whose discussion involves the heavy use of dollar signs. But even I can grasp what Atrios is up to here.
(I really, really hope he'll be adding more.)
